Founded in 2019 by Dr. Sylvia Masson, a veterinary specialist in companion animal behavioral medicine, No Ledge is dedicated to promoting animal welfare by sharing knowledge in the field of veterinary behavioral medicine—particularly in the area of animal behavior and animal welfare.

Made up of several specialized entities, the group offers a comprehensive range of services and resources for both professionals and passionate animal lovers.

The Divisions of No Ledge

1- No Ledge Editions: The Publishing House

No Ledge Editions has already published four books and one booklet

« G.E.R.E.R. – Training and Behavior of Your Dog : (320 pages – €29.90) A positive training method for a harmonious relationship with your dog. Released in early 2020, this book is aimed at the general public and has sold over 4,000 copies. A revised edition with updated data is scheduled for late 2025.

2- No Ledge Formations

A training program designed for professionals (veterinarians, trainers, veterinary assistants) to share current knowledge and methods tailored to real-world needs. Delivered by experts, the catalog evolves continuously and includes custom conferences.

Training Sections:

  • For veterinarians: Behavioral therapies in veterinary psychiatry, Communication tools in consultation, etc.
  • For veterinary assistants (ASVs): Education vs. behavior—how to tell the difference, Rehabilitation of care-related phobias, etc.
  • Custom programs: Tailored content based on the audience’s needs.

Over 20 conferences and training sessions have been delivered since June 2023, over 50 in 2024 and even more in 2025.

3- No Ledge Software

This branch develops tools like Psy4Vet, an innovative software for companion animal behavioral medicine. It helps practitioners save time on reports and offers structured consultation support for those less familiar with the discipline.

Since its launch in 2020, all subscriptions have been renewed. Multiple plans are available on the Psy4Vet website.

A new module has been specifically designed to assist and support general practice veterinarians and veterinary assistants in managing behavioral disorders in dogs and cats.

4- No Ledge Consulting

A team of experts supporting professionals through knowledge sharing and skill development to improve clinical practice.
Nearly 200 case studies have already been submitted, and over 20 custom questionnaires and scales have been created to meet growing demand since the launch of this service in June 2023.

5 – No Ledge Research

No Ledge Research is committed to advancing veterinary science, with 15 peer-reviewed publications and over 15 studies conducted in just three years. These efforts have led to major progress in veterinary medicine, including contributing to the ban on electric shock collars in France2.

6 – Cynapse: No Ledge’s YouTube Channel

Cynapse is a rich source of knowledge in canine education, animal psychology, communication, and veterinary psychiatry. Written by a team of professionals (veterinarians and dog trainers), the short-format videos (4–10 minutes) are designed for both the general public and professionals seeking engaging, free educational content for their clients.
